Using so-called "greywater" is one of many examples of innovative sanitary technology from WeberHaus. The idea is to use your bath and shower water a second time, helping make your self build home more energy efficient.
This is how it works:
Your shower and bathwater is conducted to a small cleaning plant, since the separation of drinking water and separated water must be ensured - as is the case when using rainwater. New technology cleans the water in four steps:
1. A first filter performs basic pre-cleaning.
2. Biocultures condition the water.
3. The sediments from this step are removed.
4. UV radiation kills the bacteria.
The whole process is entirely odour-free. The sediments are automatically conveyed to the sewage canal. Clogging of the filters is impossible, since a self-cleaning function rinses the filters as required.
