The concept is no less spectacular than the architecture. Oevolution stands for minimal energy use and a maximum of healthy living. The excellent thermal insulation of the house and strict orientation of large windows to the south permit heating the building almost exclusively by air and heat exchange. Solar collectors on the staggered lean-to roof provide hot water and cheap electricity.

Here we have a custom-designed semi-detached Oevolution house in which one half is home to the family of five and the other contains the owner's veterinary practice as well as a three-room apartment for rent. There is no better way to unite working and living under one roof.

The residential half of the house features a generous living and dining area, an open kitchen and an office on the ground floor and three spacious children's rooms and the master bedroom above.
