Craftsmanship to perfection

With its clear lines and modern architecture, this striking luxurious show house unmistakably reveals its origins in the Bauhaus tradition. The impressive turnkey home is the work of London-based architect, Nick Blunt. The house has a width of 25 metres long and a depth of 9 metres. Large floor-to-ceiling glazed elements open the detached house to the garden side, letting plenty of daylight into the interior. With a total floor area of 335 m², the spaciousness and generosity of the layout is immediately apparent on entering the house. The entrance floor is divided into a living room, which can be unobtrusively hidden by a floor-to-ceiling door integrated into the wall. The second area consists of an open kitchen-dining area. Ancillary rooms such as a storeroom, a WC, the lift and a concealed bar are configured on the ground floor like free-standing floor-to-ceiling items of furniture. On the first floor is the parents’ suite with bedroom, wellness bathroom and a generously proportioned dressing room. The remainder of the available first floor space comprises two children’s bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathroom and an office. A separate free-standing building next to the main building contains the double garage, and a wellness area with sauna, WC and Aquamoon shower. The high quality of the detailing and craftsmanship are particularly noticeable. Nothing in this villa is standard.
