Spacious prefabricated home in Hertfordshire

Additional information

This deceptively spacious prefabricated home was manufactured at our factory in Rheinau-Linx, Germany, by our master craftsmen. After the individual parts were produced, we used advanced construction techniques to assemble the property in three days - without compromising on our outstanding levels of quality. Our bespoke house builders worked together with our experienced residential architects to create a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home spread over 230m2. The exterior is modelled in a traditional style: comprised of large windows, horizontal grey cladding and white-painted walls. At the rear of the house is a first-floor balcony which looks out over the gorgeous green garden and the scenic views beyond - and, with a deep roof overhang, the balcony has the benefit of weather protection year-round too. A tall pitched roof maximises this modern modular home’s ceiling height, creating a light, bright and airy feel to the interior. Inside, contemporary fittings make this home perfectly matched for modern family living - offering plenty of comforts and functional spaces for entertaining guests.

Surrounded by trees, this property harmoniously balances itself with nature - and this is just one of over 35,000 eco friendly homes we’ve built integrating our Passive Haus philosophy. For over five decades we’ve strived to achieve sustainability in all of our prefabricated homes, utilising the latest technologies and sophisticated materials to actively reduce the energy consumption levels of all of our builds. Each prefab home benefits from vastly superior heat insulation, microclimate regulation for increased comfort and drastically reduced energy bills. Each home, including this one, has underfloor heating built in as standard, with heat recovery ventilation systems resulting in the need for only 10% of incoming air to be heated. Award-winning security systems ensure each WeberHaus home is secure, while home technology enables homeowners to control the temperature and lighting remotely for maximum convenience. The architectural house plans are drawn up following thorough consultation with the client, which means our homeowners can design their dream home side-by-side with our industry-leading eco house builders. With modern family living incorporated from the inside out, and our eco-friendly guiding principles integrated from the ground up, this Hertfordshire home embodies the innovative spirit of WeberHaus.
