A house for our children

It was the happy news of baby twins on the way that made it clear their house would become too small with four children, so the search began for a new, larger home. WeberHaus was an obvious choice for the Hetz family as they knew so many enthusiastic WeberHaus homeowners locally. Plus the sustainable construction methods and ecological use of wood as a raw material were a priority for them. Manfred Hetz said, "With four children, a healthy home is very important to us. The fact that WeberHaus carried the ‘recommended medical housing' certification ultimately convinced us completely."

Pure relaxation

A swimming pool visit with four children is not an easy task, so our swimming pool was an obvious choice and has been used almost every day since the family moved in. The inclusion of the sauna in the pool house has also been a popular choice.

A safe feeling in the dream house

“The alarm system is important to keep our children safe. We have no jewellery or expensive possessions, but the kids are our priority. Although the security standards at WeberHaus are already very high due to the nine-fold locked front door and mushroom-pin locks, as well as other protective mechanisms in the windows, we also wanted an alarm system," Manfred explains. The family is also considering housekeeping by WeberHaus. The external blinds are already electrically operated and the glass-covered pergola can also be quickly protected from the sun by a burgundy awning. Controlled ventilation ensures a pleasant indoor climate, as Manfred explains, "Since moving in, the heating has only been used when the outdoor temperature drops below freezing, thanks to the excellent insulation of the ÖvoNatur building shell. The tiles and all floors are pleasantly warm due to the underfloor heating, so there are no annoying radiators and much more space for glass surfaces.”
