Modern Family Home in Wales

After over twenty years in London, we wanted a lifestyle closer to our Welsh roots and a home that suited our growing family. Renovating our 1930s Cardiff house proved costly and impractical.
Meeting designer Nick Blunt from WeberHaus changed everything. Prefabrication offered speed, quality, and clarity—essential with four children. A visit to the factory convinced us: precision, quick assembly, and a stress-free process.
The design fit our life perfectly: equal-sized bedrooms, upstairs utility, boot room, and an open plan to the garden. The build was astonishing—structure up in a week, calm and efficient throughout.
Today, the quality impresses us most: solid construction, excellent insulation, integrated shutters, ventilation, and sedum roofs. The house works beautifully for family life and gatherings—friends now call it the “playbox.”
Prefabrication doesn’t mean compromise. It means a home designed with care, built with precision, and delivered without stress.
For us, this is the way forward.
