Three-storey prefab home in Wimbledon
This deceptively spacious three-storey house was designed and constructed, piece by piece, by our master craftsmen at the WeberHaus factory in Rheinau-Linx, Germany. One of the more traditional looking prefabricated homes we’ve built, the aesthetic retains modern features like timber cladding, large windows and clean-cut shapes. Built on a narrow plot, the property was ingeniously designed by our residential architects who created a family-friendly home consisting of three bedrooms and four bathrooms spread out over three floors. We optimised the space further by creating an open-plan kitchen and dining room area fitted with huge fully glazed sliding doors that open up onto the patio for an inside/outside living space for the warmer summer months. Inside, the style is clean and functional, with a laid-back colour palette comprised of base neutrals across flooring and fittings and complementary colours used in furnishings and finishes. As with all of our modern prefab homes, this property was designed to deliver style and comfort for the residents in every feature throughout.
Core to WeberHaus’ popularity is our commitment to designing environmentally-friendly houses that never compromise on quality. Offering exceptional levels of German house design and leading eco innovations, this property follows the WeberHaus principle of Passive Haus - an integrated approach to minimising energy consumption across all of our builds. Our innovation has put us at the forefront of eco home design with technologies that enable our prefabricated houses to provide clients with drastically reduced energy consumption and superior temperature regulation throughout the year - all while providing unparalleled construction quality.
